Tragically on 20 January 2024 at approximately 1130 pm Tom Hall was tragically killed when driving his 2010 Ford F150 along Bluff Road in Richland County and experienced an automobile collision that led to him dying instantly in a tragic car accident.
Hall was well known for his varied career spanning both legal and musical pursuits before suddenly passing away unexpectedly in Georgetown. At present, South Carolina Highway Patrol are investigating how this came to pass.
Tom Hall was an exceptional individual renowned for his many talents and contributions to Georgetown. At 55, Tom not only held down one of its most beloved restaurant spots (Between the Antlers), but was also an outstanding musician, attorney, and director.
Hall is a native Columbian who attended Westminster Catawba High school before going on to The Citadel to finish his education. Since then, his career has included owning Smoke Southern Barbecue Revival as well as managing the Plowboys baseball club.
Hall earned himself the moniker “serial businessman” with his efforts in revitalizing both a working farm and Ridgeway bed and breakfast, his most recent culinary venture being Between the Antlers which celebrated Georgetown’s rich culinary tradition. Beyond professional achievement, however, people remember Hall for his warmth, charm and energetic establishments that he managed – traits which transcend professional stature altogether.

Unfortunately not. Tom was the founder and leader behind Georgetown restaurant Between the Antlers before being killed in a car crash at 55 in 2024; many in Georgetown mourned his passing as they remembered this pioneer of culinary contributions in Georgetown.
