Van Alstyne of Texas mourns the death of Reagan Tyler Reese. Known for his infectious smile and kind heart, Reagan has left a huge hole in our tight-knit community. Looking back on his life, it’s clear that Reagan was generous, compassionate and passionate about life – not without making up for what he didn’t have.
Academic and athletic skills
Reagan was a star in the classroom and on the football field. Reagan was a star athlete and scholar at Van Alstyne High School because of his athletic ability on the football field. He earned the respect of his peers, coaches and the community for his dedication and athletic ability. These traits continued after high school when he became an avid football fan.
Nature is a beautiful thing.
Reagan found peace and contentment in nature. Reagan was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed activities such as fishing, hunting and exploring the beauty of nature. His joyful spirit left a lasting impression on those he carried with him. Reagan was naturally pacified and warmly welcomed in return.
He loves the outdoors
Reagan’s legacy goes beyond his sports and outdoor activities. His kindness and compassion will always be remembered. One of his most defining qualities was his ability to make people feel appreciated. Her friends and family saw her joy as they saw her loved ones smile a lot because of it. Her presence of comfort was a powerful reminder that times of stress can be life-changing.
A heart of compassion
Reagan found a new way to enjoy music. He loved music in all its forms, immersing himself in the singing of his favorite songs. Reagan loved sharing his passion for music with anyone willing to join in!

Van Alstyne is mourning the loss of Reagan, but he remains kind, compassionate and happy. Van Alstine lost more than one resident. His heart will always be sad for this wonderful man whom so many had the pleasure of knowing. There will be a memorial service for Reagan. This event is an opportunity for family members, friends and the community to come together to reflect on her life. In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to the Van Alstyne football team.

Reagan Tyler Reese is physically gone, but the memory of his life will live on for those he touched. Van Alstyne left behind a truly special person, but Reagan remains a lasting reminder of his life.
