Blayney had been driving westbound on U.S. Route 6 at that time before driving over a ditch that caused her death, Ohio State Highway Patrol reports.
Reports indicate that Colin Blayney was involved in an accident where his 2005 Mercedes Benz collided with two utility poles, striking both, leading to fatal injuries for him as reported by Troopers. Blayney did not wear his seat belt during this accident according to Troopers.
Colin Blayney was honored for his years of service to a local school and parish as technology manager for over 10 years, serving in this capacity since 2007. When Colin unexpectedly died unexpectedly from car collision with poles and utility wires on an ice patch in November 2010, this tragic outcome resulted in him passing away there and then.
