Anthony Baxter’s life was one of joy, creativity, and unconditional devotion to his family. Anthony Baxter was born on November 9, 1961 to Walter Baxter Jr., and Catherine (nee McFadden), Baxter in Somerdale, New Jersey. He had many siblings who helped shape his life. Walter (Karen), Michael Steven, and Kathy Maryellen Regina Ellen Ann Baxter were his most beloved siblings.

Anthony’s marriage to Cheryl Baxter was a blessing. They shared a deep and extraordinary bond of love and partnership. Together, they experienced life’s highs and lows, while strengthening their family bonds. Anthony was a loving father to Nicole, Amber (Carl), Michael, Lindsay, Shane and Marlie. He also shared laughter with Marlie.

Anthony’s passion for gardening was a reflection of his artistic soul. He spent hours caring for his plants and creating a tranquil oasis that delighted others. Anthony was often seen tending to his flowers, which showed how dedicated he truly was.

Anthony loved adventure and nature. From camping trips which brought him closer to nature to restoring his Jeep and off-roading it, Anthony was always ready for an adventure. Anthony’s love of nature and adventure was evident in his camping trips that brought him closer to nature, to restoring and off-roading his jeep. He was always up for an adventure!
A Legacy of Laughter
Anthony’s motto was “Never Lose Your Humor” and he made sure that everyone who knew him lived it. Anthony’s loved ones will continue this tradition of positive thinking by living out his philosophy and paying tribute to Anthony in his memory.
A Farewell Gathering
Anthony’s family and friends will be invited to attend his visitation at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish Shrine – St Luke Church, located at 55 Warwick Rd, Stratford NJ, on Saturday, April 22 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM. This gathering will allow attendees to reflect on his life and share their memories. They can also offer support to each other during this difficult time.
