The U.S. Marine Corps released on Friday the names of 5 Marines killed whilst their chopper crashed at some stage in a habitual project from Nevada to California.
Lance Cpl. Donovan Davis of Olathe in Kansas, Sgt. Alec Langen, 23, of Chandler, Arizona; Capt. Benjamin Moulton, 27, of Emmett, Idaho; Capt. Jack Casey (26), Dover, New Hampshire, and Capt. Miguel Nava (28), of Traverse City in Michigan.
All had been assigned Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 361, Marine Aircraft Group 16 and third Marine Aircraft Wing. The Marine Corps Air Station Miramar in California turned into their base.
The helicopter, a CH-53E Super Stallion that they had been riding in, turned into stated missing on Tuesday. It became located in Southern California in a far flung, snow-included vicinity.
